A group of Nigerian students came together to create Africa’s first electric car from scratch, using locally sourced materials. Olukoya Olusanya and Maduka Smart pioneered the project, and enlisted other students to help. However, during an interview they revealed that ‘DOVE’ is an acronym for Designed for Zero Vehicle Emission.
