Nigerians have warned commuters, especially those going to work on the Island from Ojodu Berger, about a gang that pick up young women at Ojodu Berger bus stop only to rob them of all their belongings, including their ATM card with which they steal money from their accounts. A lot of people have fallen victim to these robbers and one of the Twitter users whose sister fell victim said they were told at the police station that a lot of people have been robbed this way and it happens frequently. Maimuna Muhammed revealed that her father's relatives collected all they had after her father died and her mother was forced to move back to her family with her children. But she had to endure insults from her brothers' wives even though she was solely responsible for her children's upkeep. A suspected kidnapper dressed as a woman has been arrested trying to abduct school children in Rivers State It was learnt that the suspect was caught by residents of Omuchi Igwuruta area of Port Harcourt, Rivers state and handed over to the police. NFL player, LeSean McCoy has responded to the accusation that he brutally beat his girlfriend Delicia until her face was bloody but Delicia's friend who released the photo of Delica's battered face says he isn't telling the truth. LeSean, better known as Shady McCoy, said the claims that he beat Delicia were "totally baseless" and "completely false". He added that he hasn't had direct contact with his girlfriend in months. But Delicia's friend, Mia, called him out and said he was lying and she stands by her words that Shady has been violent over the years and was the one responsible for Delicia's injuries. Aminu Saleh, the Kwara State Commissioner of Police on Tuesday said the police had arrested the Vice President of the Federal Polytechnic Offa Students’ Union Government. The police commissioner said the VP, Tajudeen Selim, was arrested for alleged involvement in cultism in Offa Poly, in the Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State. He added that other Offa poly students; Temitope  Omotosho, Adewusi Vincent  an ex-student of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, Olanipekun Abimbola, and another suspect, Ayomide Ololade, were arrested for alleged involvement in cultism. Saleh spoke through the command’s Police Public Relations Officer, Ajayi Okasanmi, while parading the suspect in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital. The suspect, who is the Chief Executive Officer/Chairman, Asher Worldwide Business Limited, is alleged to have fraudulently obtained the sum under the guise that he had the ability to secure and supply two million barrels of crude oil to East Rock LLC. The suspect provided a fiduciary account, which was thought to be an NNPC account into which the victim paid the sum. When his ruse was discovered, the suspect absconded after refunding only $40,000. All efforts to apprehend him have so far proved abortive. Light in complexion and over six feet tall, 54-year-old Daniels hails from Ijebu Ode Local Government Area of Ogun State. The suspect is fluent in English and Yoruba languages. His last known address is House 1, ‘A’ Close, Adkan Estate, Gwarimpa, Abuja.

US hedge fund, Elliott announced it has taken over Italian giant  AC Milan after the club's Chinese owners failed to repay debt, saying the deal opened "a new chapter" for the football institution. Elliott Management pledged to inject 50 million euros ($59 million) to bring financial stability to the seven-time European champions after Chinese owner Li Yonghong missed a Friday deadline to repay 32 million euros. Adeyemi Alao, the boyfriend and suspected killer of Miss Khadijat Oluboyo, daughter of the immediate past Deputy Governor of Ondo State, has been arrested by the Ondo State Police Command. Photo showing the room where he buried her beneath his bed has also emerged. 20-year-old Khadijat, a final year student of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, was found dead in her boyfriend’s house six days after she went missing from school. She was found buried in a shallow grave in Adeyemi's room. According to reports, Adeyemi,  popularly known as QS, had killed her for ritual purposes then he dug a grave in the room, buried the deceased in it, and placed his mattress on the shallow grave. Adenike Khadijat Oluboyo, daughter of the immediate past Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Alhaji Lasisi Olugbenga Oluboyo, was found dead at her boyfriend’s house in Akure today July 8th..
