A man who visited Nigeria and spent 4 weeks has narrated his observations regarding the way women are treated in the country. Rosanwo, who is a Yoruba man, but lives outside Nigeria, was in Lagos from March to April and, according to him, what he observed about the treatment of women in Nigeria left him wondering. CBN sets daily limit of mobile transfer at N100,000

The Central Bank of Nigeria CBN, has pegged the maximum transfer from mobile phones using short codes at N100,000. According to a statement from the director, banking and payment system of CBN, Dipo Fatokun, the decision was made because of the risk associated with mobile banking. The bank says the new directive will take effect from June 2018. “Concerns have been expressed on the likely exposure of CBN approved entities to the possible breaching of the USSD accessed financial services in view of likely vulnerabilities in the technology and the ever-growing threats,” the circular read. The bank added that any customer that would like to do transactions over N20,000 will require a pin and soft token which they would get from their banks. “Put a limit of N100,000.00 per customer, per day for transactions as may be required. Kelis, the ex-wife of Nas, has said that her ex-husband abused her verbally, mentally, and physically when they were married. The 38-year-old singer, who was married to the rapper from 2005 to 2009, describes their relationship as "really toxic" in her first public interview about her failed marriage to the rap legend. President Buhari has explained why he refused to reply former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s explosive  letter  to him chronicling his alleged failures and advising him not to seek re-election in the 2019 polls.
