Young Nigerian woman dies three months after her wedding

A young Nigerian woman, Aisha Ahmad died three days ago barely three months after her wedding. Late Aisha and her husband got married on April 28, 2018. She passed away on Saturday after a brief illness.

Paul Okoye and his wife, Anita threw a Circus themed party at their Park View mansion yesterday, to celebrate the first birthday of their twins, Nathan and Nadia. The party had in attendance Nigerian celebrites including Jim Iyke, Timaya, Miracle Ikechukwu, Skales, Phyno, Vast of Braket, Tobi Bakre, amongst others.

No fewer than two people have died and others were injured in an accident involving multiple cars and a motorcycle in Imo state. The accident which was reportedly caused by a speeding driver saw multiple vehicles collide with each other before knocking down a motorcyclist who was carrying a lady along the Onitsha-Owerri highway in Mgbidi, Oru West local government area of the state. The motorcyclist and his female passenger were killed on the spot while others were seriously injured. The wounded victims were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Interesting argument between Two Nigerians on Twitter regarding Fulani herdsmen and Igbo business men

A northerner in support of ranching; to give Fulani herdsmen freedom for their cattle to graze in any state in the country, argued that Fulani herdsmen who go to the South in search of food for their cattle are no different from Igbos who go to the north for business. And a Twitter user replied him. Twitter user Abbas Dangi quoted Prof Ango Abdullahi, saying: "The land belongs to Nigerians and herders are Nigerians. If an Igbo man can go to the North and set up a business, Why won’t herders go to the South, including your village, to graze their cattle?" Photos: Fire guts NNPC depot in Niger State

The Depot of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) in Pogo Minna, Niger state was gutted by fire today. According to reports, the fire was as a result of leakages from the pipes from the Depot which was noticed on Saturday night before some black marketers stormed the area and started scooping fuel from the leaking pipes which later caught fire. No loss of life was however recorded as security Agents including the Police, Civil Defence and Niger State Emergency Agency, (NSEMA) were all at hand to spread to the main Depot and also kept the miscreants away from further scooping.  Director General, Niger State Emergency Agency (NSEMA), Ahmed Ibrahim Inga while speaking with Journalists said, ”we thank God everything has returned to nomalcy. Rapper XXXTentacion signed a whopping $10 million album deal weeks before his sudden death

It has been revealed that rapper,  XXXTentacion  signed a whopping $10 million album deal weeks before he was shot to death in Florida. XXXTentacion, whose real name is   Jahseh Onfroy  had released two full-length albums  “17” in 2017 (via Empire) and “?” in 2018 (via Caroline/Universal Music Group). According to the New York Times, Empire offered him a whopping $10 million deal for his third album before he died. Empire’s founder,  Ghazi Shami , who didn't comment on this reported deal, confirmed that the rapper finished “a significant amount of material” for the album before he died. Spain appoint former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique as new coach

Former Barcelona manager,   Luis Enrique Martinez   has been officially appointed the new coach of the Spanish national team.  The president of the Spanish Football Federation,   Luis Rubiales   announced his appointment this afternoon at a press conference. The 48-year-old will replace   Fernando Hierro , who had taken over as interim coach following the sacking of   Julen Lopetegui   two days before Spain’s opening World Cup game against   Portugal. Julen Lopetegui was dismissed after he had unexpectedly given a short notice of resignation to Spanish Football Federation president Luis Rubiales to take over as the new manager of   Real Madrid   for the 2018-19 season. Former Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboue arrested on suspicion of Arson

Former  Arsenal  right-back and Ivory Coast international,  Emmanuel Eboue  was arrested on suspicion of Arson in Enfield. A statement published by the Metropolitan Police read: 'Police investigating an alleged arson at a residential address in Enfield on Saturday, 30 June, arrested a 35-year-old man on suspicion of arson and malicious communications outside the address at around 17:00hrs on Saturday, 7 July. Eboue, who played  214 times for the Gunners between 2005 and 2011 has been released on bail but still faces an investigation for malicious communications. A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "He has since been released with no further action in respect of the arson allegation. He has been bailed for further enquiries in relation to the other offences." Lucky escape as Kogi State University student finds snake under his bed (photos)

Facebook user, Yinka Oluwafemi has warned students of the Kogi State University to exercise more caution, use repellents and lock doors and windows. He issued the warning after a student found a snake under his bed in one of the school hostels. "#Warning   This is raining season, as much as you can, clear your surroundings. This snake was found in the room of a student in his bed, thank God he was sensitive enough to see it before sleeping.  Lock doors and windows as early as possible at evenings, u can also spray repellents and the likes to chase the unwanted away."
