Kiss Daniel was the biggest winner at the Headies awards 2016, taking home three awards, one of which was for album of the year.
Ill Bliss, indigenous rapper, was right on Daniel’s tail with a total of two wins, his highest ever in the history of the Headies.
Darey Art-Alade also won two awards for his hit single, ‘Pray for Me’. One of his awards was in the coveted category of ‘recording of the year’.
Wizkid, as expected, was named artiste of the year while Olamide won for ‘best rap single’ and ‘best streethop’.
