Oyedepo lays curses on sponsors of violence in southern Kaduna

Founder of the Living Faith church, also known as Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has asked God to break-up Nigeria immediately if that is His will for the country.
Bishop Oyedepo also invoked God’s wrath on those behind the mayhem in southern Kaduna.

Vanguard reports that during a ministration in his church, Oyedepo rained curses on those promoting the killings and destruction of properties in the northern state and in an area predominantly occupied by Christians.
The angry Oyedepo was quoted as releasing powerful curses during a prayer session saying:
“God sent me as His apostle of liberation to this continent to stop it from decadence.
“I heard from God and He has proved it beyond measure. Therefore, every occultic root, every political root of this uprising is cursed today!
“All the northern forces that are sponsoring this uprising and killings, I decree the curse of God upon them.

“Lord, if it is your will to break up Nigeria, break it now!”
He told his members: “Come on, pray in the spirit everybody. Pray in the spirit; open fire, call down the Holy Ghost fire to descend on the camp of the enemy. Enough is Enough!
“If Nigeria wakes up, wait for the church to rise, there will be no more nation, what nonsense.”

JAMB made N8.5billion revenue came from payments made by 1.6million candidates who registered for the exam this year

An exclusive report by Premium Times says that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board generated N8.453billion from the sales of forms to applicants seeking admission into tertiary institutions in Nigeria in 2018. According to the report, the revenue came from payments made by 1,602,762 candidates who registered for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) held across the country in March. Part of the revenue also came from registration fees paid by 135, 670.00 Direct Entry (DE) candidates, our source said. The official asked not to be named because he did not obtain official permission to divulge the details to journalists. Each of the total 1,798,438 UTME and direct entry candidates paid N5,500 for the forms out of which N4,700 goes to JAMB’s coffers while N800 is remitted to banks and suppliers of reading texts to applicants, the official further explained. Customs officers intercepts truckload of 200,000 live ammunition in Niger(photos)

The Niger, Kwara, Kogi Command of the Nigeria Customs has intercepted an Onitsha bound truck load of 200,000 live ammunition being brought into the country from Benin Republic.
