Men of God in Nigeria lend Apostle Suleman their support Men of God in Nigeria lend Apostle Suleman their support

- Following the unending news of the scandal of Apostle Suleman who was alleged to have been having an affair with Stephanie Otobo

- Some men of God around have come together to lend their support to the founder of Omega Fire Ministries in this trying time.

The unending series of drama that have ensued between the man of God and the alleged lover has been churned by every media in Nigeria and abroad. On this note, some acclaimed Nigerian Bishops working under Niger Delta Bishops and Ministers Forum (NDBMF), have decided to support Apostle Johnson Suleman amidst this uncanny impropriety.

His Eminence, Dr. Julius Ediwe, who is the president of NDBMF spoke to newsmen in Port Harcourt concerning the allegations. Ediwe who represented the other men of God said the assertion of Stephanie Otobo against Apostle Suleman is pure lie.

“We want to let Nigerians and the whole world know that this is propaganda. It is false. As spiritual fathers in the land, we will not be quiet and watch a young girl with whoever that is sponsoring her, spoil the name of a man of God. A man of God who has single-handedly stood in defense of Christians in this country, Africa and the whole world.”

“We cannot sit down and watch a young girl like that speak blasphemy of such a man of God. We are here to say it is an error. As Niger Delta Bishops and Ministers Forum, we condemn the actions of the young girl and whoever that is sponsoring her.”

“We want to advise them to leave Apostle Suleiman alone; allow him to do what God has sent him to do in Nigeria, in Africa and the whole world. God called him to preach the gospel and we are enjoying the gospel and we love what he is doing. I want to let Nigerians know that Apostle Suleiman has made us, clergymen proud in this country. Such a man is not somebody who that little girl should come up to rubbish.” “So, we are saying, please, if you love your life, run away from this evil paid for against the man of God. If not, the wrath of God is coming upon you! We know that such allegation can come at any time to any man of God who preached the truth and has integrity.”

Today, Justice Jude Okeke of the FCT High Court, Maitama ordered the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to pay N180 million to Samuel Okutepa being his professional fee. Okeke who delivered judgment in a suit filed by Okutepa against the PDP, said Okutepa deserved to be paid the money for handling the cases for the party.  “The defendant is directed to pay the claimant N180 million being the earned professional fee for defending and prosecuting their cases listed out in the applicant’s statements of claims.’’ The court also ordered PDP to pay N50,000 to Mr Okutepa, a senior advocate of Nigeria, for successfully handling the cases. The judge held that it was not right for the PDP not to pay for the work they knew was well handled by the plaintiff. ''Shutting down 3 pharmaceutical companies will affect our economy and render thousands jobless'' - Concerned Nigerians group

Read the press statement by Concerned Nigerians below... The Shutdown of three major Pharmaceutical Companies, Emzor, Bioraj and Peace Standard Pharmaceuticals by National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control over Codein production is another testament that the current administration is clueless and wants more Nigerians out of Job. This hasty decision of shutting down all Production lines of these Pharmaceuticals over alleged production of Codein syrup is one done in bad faith. We are concerned about thousands of Jobs and revenue that will be lost as a result of this ill-conceived decision to shutdown the three largest pharmaceutical companies in the Country. You would recall that the National Bureau of Statistics had in its report stated that the number of Nigerians that became unemployed rose under  the current administration from 8,036million in 2015 Fourth quarter to 15.998 million in third quarter of 2017. It will be c...
