The same group reportedly turned his wife Aisha to an outsider in favour of Halima, who is the only one out of all Buhari’s immediate family that is allowed unfettered access to Buhari, the report claims. NAIJ.com recalls that just on Thursday, March 2, President Buhari received a call from the King of Morocco Mohammed VI , who called to know about his health. This was revealed by presidential spokesman Femi Adesina in a press statement released on Thursday afternoon.

Former Ambassador of the United States of
America to the United Nations, Mr Andrew Young
has said Nigeria is a great nation being enslaved
by corruption, laziness, selfishness.
Mr Young said Nigeria's refusal to realise that she
is a nation destined to be great is why the nation
is still languishing in it's present state.
Young made this statement in Abeokuta, Ogun, at
a symposium organised as part of the activities to
celebrate ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo's 80th
birthday, Punch reports.
Young said: “I have seen Nigerians abroad. They
are brilliant, intelligent and hardworking and
respectable."
Young, however, expressed concern that Nigeria
was yet to fully realise and appreciate the great
destiny it carries.
“The slavery of Nigeria is corruption, laziness,
selfishness and refusal to realise that she is a
nation destined to be great.”

Young, however, expressed the belief that Nigeria
was set to be liberated from whatever it had
become slave unto.
Young also talked about Olusegun Obasanjo
Presidential Libaray (OOPL) which will be
inaugurated on Saturday, March 4.
He said: “I see the library as something that will
not only teach young Nigerians about their rich
heritage, but will also point them to the great
future of the nation.

“I see the nation, Nigeria, rising and occupying a
significant position like China, US and other great
nations of the world."
Meanwhile, Acting President Osinbajo has blamed
corruption on Nigerian elites thirst for more
money and their inabilities to question wealth's
sources.
Osinbajo made this statement on Tuesday,
February 28, while inaugurating the Private
Sector Advisory Group for Sustainable
Development Goals at the Presidential Villa,
Abuja.

Today, Justice Jude Okeke of the FCT High Court, Maitama ordered the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to pay N180 million to Samuel Okutepa being his professional fee. Okeke who delivered judgment in a suit filed by Okutepa against the PDP, said Okutepa deserved to be paid the money for handling the cases for the party.  “The defendant is directed to pay the claimant N180 million being the earned professional fee for defending and prosecuting their cases listed out in the applicant’s statements of claims.’’ The court also ordered PDP to pay N50,000 to Mr Okutepa, a senior advocate of Nigeria, for successfully handling the cases. The judge held that it was not right for the PDP not to pay for the work they knew was well handled by the plaintiff. ''Shutting down 3 pharmaceutical companies will affect our economy and render thousands jobless'' - Concerned Nigerians group

Read the press statement by Concerned Nigerians below... The Shutdown of three major Pharmaceutical Companies, Emzor, Bioraj and Peace Standard Pharmaceuticals by National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control over Codein production is another testament that the current administration is clueless and wants more Nigerians out of Job. This hasty decision of shutting down all Production lines of these Pharmaceuticals over alleged production of Codein syrup is one done in bad faith. We are concerned about thousands of Jobs and revenue that will be lost as a result of this ill-conceived decision to shutdown the three largest pharmaceutical companies in the Country. You would recall that the National Bureau of Statistics had in its report stated that the number of Nigerians that became unemployed rose under  the current administration from 8,036million in 2015 Fourth quarter to 15.998 million in third quarter of 2017. It will be c...
