Actor George Clooney injured in road accident as bike collides with car in Sardinia (Photo)
Hollywood actor and director, George Clooney was rushed to a hospital after his motorbike collided with a car in Sardinia.
According to local reports, the 57-year-old star was on his way to a film set on the Italian island when a Mercedes car struck him.

Sardinian newspaper Nuova Sardegna claimed it happened as the car was turning and collided with Clooney's bike. "George Clooney at the hospital: with his bike he ended up against a car that was turning," the post read when translated from Italian to English.

His wife, Amal reportedly visited him at Saint John II hospital where he was found to be suffering slight trauma to his pelvis and bruising to his knee and arm. He has since been discharged.
The double Oscar winner had recently relocated his family to the Mediterranean for the summer, where he's directing and producing a TV mini-series, Catch 22.
