Police arrest 11 friends for killing Nigerian student over debt and dumping his body in car
The Turkish Cypriot police on Thursday, July 11, 2019, arrested 11 friends suspected to have murdered Obasanjo Adeola Owoyale, a student of the Cyprus International University. 

Preliminary investigation into the incident, revealed that Obasanjo was dumped in his car's trunk after he was thrown down the third floor of the building that was raided by the police. The police recovered black plastic gloves with stains resembling blood on the floor of the scene, where the deceased was reportedly killed over debt.

Obasanjo was badly brutalized and wounded with a cutting tool, before being thrown down from the third floor of the building as reported by Havadia. His corpse was pushed into the trunk of his own car and parked in a dirt field, one street away where it was found 8 days later.

During the raid at the house which eyewitnesses said was the last place the deceased visited, one of the suspects locked himself in his room and reportedly resisted arrested. The police and fire fighters allegedly climbed into the bedroom through high-rise staircase.
