- A businessman had presented the chair to the church as a gift on Thanksgiving day

A catholic church in Molo, Nakuru county rejected a donated seat after a governor sat on it during a thanksgiving service on Sunday, March 26.
Governor Kinuthia Mbugua sat on the chair before it was consecrated causing the priest Father Anthony Kinuthia to reject it.

Governor Mbugua apologised for the incident saying he didn't know he would be asked to sit on the gift.

Despite the fact that the seat might have been sat on at the store, the priest refused to accept it as a church gift.

The tweet quickly blew up, with people laughing at the unexpected twist. What made them laugh at Nina's plight was that, just some months back, Nina made fun of someone's relationship. A 25-year-old woman's face was badly torn by her husband, such that about half of her face lost its skin and you could almost see her skull. But doctors managed to reconstruct her face again and it's being referred to as a medical miracle. According to Medical Creations Instagram account, the woman was assaulted by her husband and he tore her face. Getting her back to normal would have seemed impossible but doctors managed to do it and, looking at her now, it's hard to tell how damaged her face was before the surgeries. Medical Creations wrote: A 25 years old female presented with alleged history of assault by husband over the left face. There was degloving and avulsion of the left side of her face including the nose, forehead skin and eyebrow on the left side, upper and lower eyelids and part of the cheek. A Nigerian doctor, who has been involved in a four- year ordeal after being accused of mistreating patients at a surgery has spoken of the effect the case has had on his family. Dr Abiodun Bale has been told by the Court of Appeal he was free to return to work after a top judge overturned his suspension on Monday, March 28th. Dr. Bale, who at the time lived in Moston, Manchester, was accused of behaving inappropriately after a female patient identified as Maria Hindle claimed he had grabbed her arm during a consultation and raised his voice to her at Hyndburn Medical Practice in Oswaldtwistle in 2013. The 45-year-old was training to be a GP at the Hyndburn Medical Practice in Acrington, when the allegations were first made in 2013. He was found guilty of assaulting the patient at Burnley Crown Court in 2014, but was later cleared of any wrongdoing following an appeal. Nigeria Immigration Service says Dino Melaye was arrested based on instruction given to them

Early this morning, embattled Senator Dino Melaye was arrested at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja while heading to Morocco for an official assignment. Confirming his arrest to NAN, spokesperson of the Nigeria Immigration Service NIS, Sunday James, said the airport authorities acted based on instructions. James however did not reveal who issued the instruction for the arrest. The police recently declared Melaye wanted after he was accused of supplying arms to some murder suspects, who alleged they were being sponsored by him. Dino has since denied the allegation.

Court stops sack of over 20,000 teachers that failed the competency test in Kaduna

The Kaduna Division of the National Industrial Court today issued an order stopping the state government from going further with the plan to sack 21,780 primary school teachers that failed a competency test organised by the state government. Recall that in June, the state government organized a competency test for primary school teachers in the state. Sadly, over 21, 000 of the teachers failed the primary 4 set of questions given to them. Some of the scripts released by the state government showed that many of the teachers supplied ridiculous answers to basic questions they were asked. About two-thirds of the teachers that sat for the competency test, failed to score up to 75 percent. The state government afterward announced it will be terminating the appointment of the incompetent teachers.
